User Experience Design is an art. An art that deals with various concepts in the making of a product. User experience design is a much bigger concept to understand as its branches are extended far and wide. UXD/UED deals with everything including interface, graphics, industrial, marketing and so on.

“User experience design (UXD or UED) is any aspect of a user’s experience with a given system, including the interface, graphics, industrial design, physical interaction, and the manual. In most cases, User Experience Design fully encompasses traditional Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) design, and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.”
User experience design is a complex set of multiple applications that make a product. User experience is how a person feels when he is making use of a service or a product or an interface.
